Not the pregnancy kind (unless you're actually pregnant so in that case, congratulations!). If you're like me, you probably own over ten skin care products. OK, twenty skin care products. I can't say I blame you. You can't just walk into Lush or The Body Shop and NOT spend over $200 worth of items. But seriously, we all know that health radiates from the inside out. Now, if you're thinking that I'm going to go on and on and preach about how great kale is, I'm not...yet. Whether we're applying masks every other day or sprinkling cayenne pepper in our homemade green juice, the start of a healthy complexion is much more than what you put into your body. So for now, let's start with figuring out how to love ourselves, how to slow down just enough to enjoy life, how to grow courage from fear, how to accept every aspect of your being, and just remembering to take a deep breathe because, in the end, we're only human.

Tell me something, what moves you? What is the one thing that causes you to take action? No doubt, through inspiration, challenges are met, action is taken, and results occur. I find myself being constantly inspired every day. It could be a person, an article, or even a photo. As a writer, I pay attention to the smallest of details and always try to read between the lines. I pour that inspiration into my writing hoping that it will pass on to whoever reads it. By having something or something to inspire you, it leads to motivation. It leads to you working your ass off to get where you want. By constantly pushing yourself to do better,the urge to become greater deepens. You realize there are no limits, only possibilities.Believe me when I tell you this, the difficult part of anything isn’t the middle, it’s always going to be the beginning. What inspires you?

Take a step back. When was the last time you really sat down and spent time with yourself? When was the last time you had a massage, or any break, really? Too many people today underestimate the power of self, the power to just be. Yeah, I get it. With your 9-5 job, you barely have the time to even look in the mirror. Don't even get me started on those of us who have children. Hey, life is anything but easy, and that's putting it in the simplest terms. Life will knock you down, tear you the hell up, help you up just to tease you before throwing a right hook and beating you right back into the ground. To be able to take care of your well being, you need to understand that the little things in life are genuinely what matter. Whether it's playing with your kids, watching the clouds in the sky, or even baking your favorite dessert. By merely being, we begin to understand the importance of life and how short it indeed is.
