Real Food

If I were to hold a chocolate bar in one hand and a stalk of broccoli in the other and asked you to pick one, which would you choose?

 
To those who picked the chocolate bar, I applaud you for telling the truth.

We all know the difference between real food and fake food; it's pretty much common sense. Real-or natural-food is food that has not been altered in ANY WAY. You eat it how you find it (naturally, that is).

In an era full of fast food chains, processed foods, and unpronounceable ingredients, it's safe to say we have strayed incredibly far from the path of health.

But not so far that we've reached the point of no return.

Step by step, we can begin to understand the importance of food by first learning what goes in it.

Why is leading an active lifestyle so important? 


We all know that by applying physical activity into our daily, we do more than lose fat and appear better. 


Exercise affects our mental health in numerous ways. benefits include better sleep (leads to better moods), increased energy levels, and chemical changes in the brain (which can lead to coping with symptoms such as anxiety).


Yet according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, only 23 percent of Americans get enough exercise.


Whatever your excuse is, learning to love exercise is not impossible and can be done by incorporating it into your life and finding out what works for you.

WELL-BEING

Webster's dictionary defines well-being the state of being happy, healthy, or prosperous.

When we're not physically enthusiastic about our appearance or weight, it takes a toll on our mental health. But it is rare that we confront our own selves on how we feel.

Instead of taking action or changing course, we waste our energy by doing absolutely nothing.

There are several ways we can improve our well-being and happiness and the first step is acceptance!

Accepting who you are, how you look, how you feel.

Give yourself the opportunity to grow and break that daily routine that has got you feeling like a damn robot.

Be more open to challenges, to life itself. Learn to laugh out loud and remember that your happiness and well-being is your priority!
